In the land of Daya., October 5, 2004
This review is from: The Masters of the Sky: Volume I (Paperback)
"...In a world of ageless memory.
In a time when gods walk amongst the living.
Seven warriors will arise to save the world..."
In the aftermath of a civil war long over a thousand years ago reconstruction has started anew. Now at the turn of the century tall skyscrapers pimple the land of Daya, forming an overwhelming age of industry in four great cities. However, amongst those in the ever-changing world returns the malice of the Great War. They are the Shiden: the nine incarnations of Shogun. It is time for the prophecy to be fulfilled and so begins the journey of Sifu Sennin. His task is simple: find the Seven Sages of Life, train them, and prepare for the shadow that falls in just eight years time. Enter a world with original landscapes, cultures, histories, mythologies, and linguistics. Where anything is possible and all logic improbable. Go beyond imagination and discover a reality inconceivable. The adventure of a lifetime begins.

Jones is the "Master" of Fantasy, February 22, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Masters of the Sky: Volume I (Paperback)
The Masters of the Sky Vol. 1, is the future of sci-fi/fantasy literature at it's finest. Luke T. Jones may well be the next Tolkien as he brings history, mythology, and legend to life. The world of "Daya" is rich and well put together. I simply can't say anything more about TMOS. I can't wait for the next volume to come out!
