Editorial Reviews

Review

"Masters of Social Psychology is an excellent introduction to the ideas of Freud, Mead, Lewin, and Skinner. I especially like Schellenberg's discussion of the social and intellectual influences on each man's work. It gives my students an appreciation for the impact of context on social psychological theory. This book is a gem!"--John Delamater, University of Wisconsin at Madison (QUOTE FOR USE IN BACK AD COPY OF ALL FUTURE REPRINTS!)

"A book on social psychology that every sober-minded social scientist can understand, and, with this salt of gratitude, enjoy!"--Social Science --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I got this book to help me get started with more detailed studies of Lewin and Mead. The book reads well and provides just enough background to learn the essence of each theorist's work.

Light, quick, easy read. It served its purpose.
