Finally! Over a year into the fantastic Classics line, we are at last treated to Trap Jaw, my personal favorite villain! One of the more visually compelling characters, Trap Jaw's excellent coloring and detail carry over well into his Classics figure, and the detailed sculpting of his crazed eyes and deadly steel jaw are fabulous, not to mention the metallic blue sheen on this figure. Just like the vintage and 2002 figures, Trap Jaw comes packaged with his removable belt, interchangeable arm extensions (hook, clamp and lasertron) and his hinged jaw. He also comes with an extra arm and head for Kronis, his original form before becoming the deadly cyborg. When Trap Jaw was originally released on February 16th he sold out in under half an hour, a record for the Classics line! His price has already doubled, so get him quickly!

Trapjaw was always one of my favorite MOTU characters. This new version is far superior to both the original and the 2002 figures. Included is all of Trapjaw's right arm weapons as well as an alternate head and arm that transform him into Kronis, his prior identity. This figure is very well made, the joints are tight and the paint job was spot on. Honestly, whether you prefer him as Trapjaw or Kronis you can't go wrong with this figure. It is so far my favorite of this new line.
