Masters of the Universe: He-Man The Most Powerful Man in the Universe Figure

The He-man line has always been great figures based on a fantasy world, and this new line captures that fantastic feeling. This new collection of figures has been updated with a more modern look and greater points of articulation, while still maintaining their heritage. The toys are fairly sturdy, and feel like they will hold up for a while, but no where near the durability of the original series. Much like the McFarlane toyline they are high on looks but have some difficulty grasping weapons, and have some problems with snap and strap on armor. Amazing to look at, with some really great features, shooting weapons, 2 part swords, push-button arm swinging action; you'll love these figures if you have any affinity with the old line, or you are partial to new figures like the Spawn toy line. The only drawback to these figures is a lack of comic book like the old line, though there is a back story on the packaging.

I was very excited to see that "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" were back!

I grew up watching "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" every morning at 8:00 a.m. before I went to school. It was fun to see how good always prevailed over evil and that somehow justice still existed somewhere, even if in cartoons.

The new "He-Man" action figure is GREAT in comparison to the older version. This new version gives "He-Man" more of a realistic look, more definition to the muscles, and a great set of really defined accesories to play with too.

To understand this action figure and the accesories that come with it I recommend that you watch the cartoon series on the "Cartoon Network" and look at the new cartoon line (drawings)so you gain a better understanding of the design, otherwise you may not know why He-Man has the pouch or why he has that hunched look.

The new sword is great, it has so much detail and it is exactly as it is in the cartoon, the way it should be. The armor is very nice too, it has the sheath where He-Man can put his sword,axe or shield and again, it has it just like in the cartoon.

If you get a chance to see the new cartoon ( drawings ) of
"He-Man" you can clearly see that the facial expression and upper body position matches that of the cartoon line rather than that of the animated cartoons and once I saw this it gave me a better understanding of the design and so I highly recommend you do so too.

I can tell that the Four Horsemen put a lot of effort to bring us this new line of toys. It is very much aligned with the cartoon series and this makes a lot of sense.

I'm glad that this new "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" line is out. My children and I can now share this experience together.

My children have become fans even though they're only 4 and almost 2. My son keeps saying "I have the POWER" and my little daughter keeps calling He-Man; He-MaM. I laugh because it just brings back so many wonderful memories and now I have new memories with them too.

You know if your a guy in your early twenties, you've seen He-man at least once.Now, guess what, He's Back And Better!

He's finally here! I've been waitin' years for a new He-Man & he is hardcore! I love the "leather" straps on his armor, the shield, & that HUGE battle axe! His new sword is okay, but nothing comes close to the original power sword, (Skeletor has it now.) I don't like how his face is anime inspired, but Mattel did kid testing & they all like the anime look better, (since all kids watch nowadays is anime.) What's the deal with that pouch on his belt right in front? One last gripe, I wish Mattel kept the cross design for his armor rather than the new asterix. All in all this is a fun figure with even more articulation than the original. He-Man is one of the toughest & coolest characters of all time, Despite the changes I don't care for mentioned above, I'm glad to have my heroes back. LONG LIVE HE-MAN!!!!

Yes, It's True.He-man and the Masters of the Universe are back and with a vengance.I'm am really excited about the new series coming to Cartoon Network and I think it will appeal to all ages.I remember watching the show and playing with the toys when I was just 6,and this is like a return to childhood.I love the new He-man figure .The attention to detail is beyond amazing and the weapons are awesome.He even has the old-school spring waist POWER PUNCH feature that I loved so much.So if you are a die hard fan of old or just discovering this Legend among Legends,
This is a Must-Buy!!! on a scale of 1-10,this is a 84.6!!

As a child, I always wanted a He-Man figure but never got one. This version has the detailing of a collector's figure mixed with the playability of playskool toys (where imagination is the main ingredient). The new power sword pales in comparison to the classic one, but other than that this toy is awesome. His chest plate comes off and there's a place to sling his weapons on the back. The new He-Man is bigger and more poseable (i.e. has more articulation) than the old 80's version. I played with him for hours reliving many childhood memories and enacting many scenes from the old TV show. Playing with He-Man transported me back to 1984 and I was nine years old again! He-Man is back and all is right again in the world. Kids will probably love it too...

After a long wait, It's finally Happened! He-Man Looks Great I saw these Figures before they was released, Mattel and the Four Horsemen have all went out of their way to make this line of Toys and Cartoon a Massive Hit. I assure you this, He-Man will be bigger now then he was when I was a child watching and playing with the old versions.

BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL HE-MAN HAS RETURNED!!!

Yeah! The 80's have returned! This new figure is pretty sweet, although i did just get him for skeletor to beat up. (lets face it, skeletor is WAY COOLER!) with 12 points of articulation, and the classic "power punch" attack, this a a really cool figure. The sword stores on his back, and the axe can be jammed in his leather harness too. my only beef with this figure is the new sword, with that wierd swivelling handle thing, his new duper fringe haircut(although a bit better than his retro fringe-mullet from the '80's) and the replacement of the chest symbol, although it still remains on his belt and axe. i heard that when they were doing the tests for popularity with the kids, they were thinking of giving him a haircut which involved long hair and two braids in front of his ears(L.O.T.R. elf style), which i think would have been cooler, but hey, i should stop complaining about little things and just enjoy the fact that He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is back, and from the looks of it, possibly more successful than ever! he has the poweeeeerrrrrr!
