I picked this book from a search of vampires here on Amazon with good reviews. It took months for me to get it because I wasn't sure if I wanted it on hardcover and I couldn't find it in any store. Well, I got it on paperback, and it is a good book, but, I think, it needed a little more "oomph" to it. I don't know; maybe I'm reading too much of Laurell Hamilton, but I still would recommend this book.

Wow! Stone Masters: A Vampire's Reckoning pulled me in, and I wanted to stay there.
The characters are rich and appealing. The vivid descriptions create a real world that I became immersed in, and when the ending arrived, I was reluctant to close the book and leave it behind. I can hardly wait for the next one! |
