I have never heard anything like this before! Remixes of classical masterpieces by Beethoven, Bach and others. Great beats, very intelligent, not over the top. HIGHLY recommended.Bob from NYC

Quite a find. My brother introduced me to this CD recently (even went so far as to 'burn' me a copy of select tracks), but I had to have a copy myself. If that isn't a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is...
As other reviewers have noted, this is a good CD to 'chill out' to, and it is interesting to hear the ideas that each separate classical piece inspired in the different DJs.

Smooth grooves, almost flawless listening,

If you're a fan of the likes of portishead, Massive Attack, Nightmares on Wax or Thievery Corporation or just someone enjoys cool low key funky instrumental tunes, then you will love this.
All the tunes are quite recognisable from their original classical incarnations (unlike some previous crossover classial pops which massacre the original). The only tune that I think falls somewhat short is Rihma's version of Swan Lake ( a decent jazzy hip hop version) which promises but never delivers the crescendo that tchaikosky's original waltz always built to and delivered in spades. However, my discrimination here maybe due to the fact that I have listened to the classical version by untold orchestras and this is the one part that never deviates. This minor hiccup aside, I find it hard to pick a favourite track as they are all just so dammned good, even some of the less famous tunes which I had previously never been aquainted with. This is a great chill out album I recommend it highly
