I recommend all of Christian Larson's books, first published early 20th century. This is one that I regard as an essential. It shows what a deeply insightful and intellectually capable man C. Larson was.
He writes.."Man is made for attainment and achievement; to ever become greater and greater than he is now - that is the purpose of his life; and to promote that purpose he must ever advance in the mastery of self."
Larson explains that we all have infinite possibility, and the power to master all forces, but before anyone can have that privilege without doing harm, one must have mastered one's thoughts and emotions. Then one is truly master, and is never moved by outer things, but is the mover.
Here in this book, Larson discusses how we are to develop and practice the inner forces and powers we have; what the proper use of willpower is, how our powers, mind, and conciousness can be made to work together for the attainment of true supremacy.

"To hold the mind and every part of the mind in this serene strong state, and to hold it there at all times, is a very high art, and is made posssible only through the training of the will to act upon the principle of the real will."

A great book for those who are seeking real power.

Christian D Larson is a fabulous writer. The concepts in this book are very helpful in connecting us to the Higher Power that is available to each and every one of us, at all times. Although, it took me a minute to get used to his train of thoughts, once I caught on I couldn't put this little book down. A lovely perspective :)

Excellent book, especially for it's time. A lot is written in this slim book. It's the type of book that I believe, should be read and re-read, in order to assimilate each sentence of pithy information.
