5.0 out of 5 stars The Anti-Dilbert, October 4, 2005
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
Nicole Grace has used her unique background and business experience to write a fascinating book that covers every aspect of job performance.
Surfing the stormy seas of office politics, making an excellent first impression and impeccable attitude and performance are all covered in an exciting, revolutionary system.
Every time I'm in a quandary at work, I reach for this book and it has never let me down.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is changing my life..., May 26, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
Every time I pick it up, I find myself reading the same words I read a month ago, but yet again, I see something new in them.

Before Mastery at Work, I was a college graduate, confused about what he wanted and how he was going to survive. I didn't want to work, becuase I didn't see any purpose in joining the "rat race".

After Mastery at Work, I am an eager college graduate with something to offer my employer and the World. I am ready to serve and reap the reward of my service to others. My career IS my spiritual path!!!

Mastery at Work has changed the way I look at interviewing and the job search in general. I see opportunities, not problems. Oh, and I can't wait to start a full-time job so I can put ALL of the 18 Keys to Success to the test!

Meanwhile, the 18 keys inform my everyday life in relationship with friends, family, and business people (those I'm interviewing with).

A bit of advice: Skim the book from front to back first to get the birds eye. Then go back and read chapter for chapter. When skimming the first time, the Chapter summaries at the end of each chapter are MOST helpful. One could benefit greatly just by reading all the Chapter Summaries in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to become Great, June 8, 2007
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
I started reading self-help books at 15. In 25 years, only one other self-help book had has as deep an impact on me as Mastery At Work. I'll give you a hint, the other book was written 80 years ago by Dale Carnegie. I credit Mastery At Work for fostering in me a new career power and joy that was missing before. Plain and simple, this book is for winners, and those who want to learn to be winners.

5.0 out of 5 stars *****A 'Must Have' For Anyone Who Wants To Excel!, August 2, 2009
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
Hello,

I am very fortunate to own and to have read this book. I am actually reading it for the SECOND time since it has so many jewels of knowledge. I have incorporated a lot of great ideas from the very first go around and especially from the 'Politics & Strategy,' Finding A Mentor,' and 'Deliverables' chapters. What I really like about the book, aside from the tons of invaluable tips and unique suggestions, is how easy the book is to read and the way the book flows so smoothly. It stays interesting throughout the entire book while surprisingly unveiling so much that I have never thought of. Ms. Grace really spells out boldly a lot of genuine ethics, high principles, proper mannerisms, and real integrity that we have lost as an overall culture and that is being directly reflected into the workplace. I am very happy Nicole Grace had the courage and will to concoct this awesome book in such an interesting, fulfilling, and creative way. I look forward to reading more books by this author. This book makes a great gift as well. Thank you.

Sincerely,

John K.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant piece of work..., June 20, 2007
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
I don't consider myself a "spiritual" person and I've read too many fluffy, new-agey books that spout great stories but nothing practical. Master at Work has broken the mold. Nicole Grace is simply brilliant by the mere fact that she has completely transformed philosophical ideas into grounded, practical steps that I can actually comprehend and apply. Put simply, no matter what your background is and no matter what career you work in, if you work for a living and are looking to derive more meaning from your day-to-day life then Mastery at Work is a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars You WILL succeed with this amazing and powerful book, May 29, 2007
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
I have been in the success motivational business as an author and business woman worldwide for over 17 years and Mastery at work is THE VERY BEST I have ever read and I do not say this lightly. For those who wish to become either an employee that companies will be after BIG TIME or a business owner/manager then this book is a MUST!! Following Ms Graces chapters I truly saw that ALL that I do makes a tremendous difference in not only my own success but also with everyone I am in contact with. ANY corporation would be SMART to get this book for every single employee. The significance of this book will astound you. It is IMPECCABLE in every way.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great book!, January 29, 2012
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
Mastery at Work is the best book I have ever read to help me navigate my work life. It gives me very useful methods to make the most of my day at work and home, and has inspired me to push the limits of my career choices. Besides the excellent tips it gave, the book also relates fascinating stories of historical persons and their inspiring actions.

I always prefer to receive suggestions from people who have actually proven themselves in a field before giving their advice and Nicole Grace most certainly has done this in her career.

I believe this book is also very useful for any profession, not just the office life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really...any profession, October 23, 2011
This review is from: Mastery at Work (Paperback)
I was astonished by this book. It says it has keys to success for any profession, but I wasn't sure that such a thing could really be possible. Any profession? What would a computer programmer, an author and a solder have in common? It turns out that they have several things in common. The ideas in Mastery at Work are applicable anywhere at any time. The techniques described make sense in a busy modern life. By applying them I have improved my life immeasurably. I recommend this book to everyone without any reservations.
