I get cold feet in the winter. The kind of cold feet that are not just cold but hurt. If you get this condition you know what I mean. The pain is not possible to ignore, you need to do something to warm up the feet. I have been using rice socks (the type you microwave for a couple of minutes), but was looking for another option that does not require me to repeatedly warm the socks up. I looked at a large number of options and all of them had fairly bad reviews, these booties were the best of the bunch and I decided to try them.

I have been using them for a month. They have pluses and minuses that I describe below. But they work!

I am attaching a collage of three photos (which can be located by following 'customer photos' link under the main photo). The first photo shows the booties out the box as they arrived (before I shaped them to my feet). The second two photos show them on my feet from a couple of different angles.

✔ The most important thing - they work. They stopped the pain and I don't need to keep running somewhere to reheat the booties.

✔ The booties have two cords: one cord plugs one of the booties into the electric outlet, the second cord connect the first bootie to the second. The first cord is 94 inches, the second cord is 22 inches. This is a fairly short leash. I had to re-arrange my power strips to be able to use the booties while I work at my desk.

✔ The booties are not meant for walking (according to instructions and the presence of a short cord), so even if I need to reach for something that is only 4-5 steps away I need to take them off.

✔ It takes about 10 minutes for the warmth to becomes strong enough to help the painful feet.

I received these booties from my husband who thought it would be a nice gift to warm my feet. The box said "washable booties" included. I imagined terry cloth--you know, warm, spa-like comfort--but opened the box to find two heavy plastic "booties" folded in half. If you would like the idea of wearing a plastic bag over your foot and then cramming your foot into a plastic heating pad that also had no consideration for the natural shape of your foot, then buy these! Otherwise, run as fast as you can. You'd be better off filling a bucket with hot water and immersing your feet. Oh ... and after my husband paid about $6 for shipping, and I paid about $10 to return them, these $24 thermal-spa booties left a warm feeling in all the wrong places!

these plastic booties don't even conform to your feet. they are very cheaply made and really did not warm my feet even when I turned them up to maximum. not even worth the postage to return. I tried to email their customer service department; but the email bounced back. What a rip off. Amazon needs to de-list them.

Product shipped promptly (received in two days) (and packaged as shown) from Cache Beauty. They have the "Best" pricing found on the 'Net. Don't pay $50 - $85 for this product at "Pro" shops or elsewhere. They have same design and quality product under different name for more $$$$$$.

This product works well for its design, which is to warm and moisturize the feet. NOTE: They ARE NOT designed to walk around the house like "house shoes".

This product is being used after: hot showers, hot baths, foot salt baths, and foot paraffin baths.

NOTE: Turn them on at least ten (10) minutes BEFORE you're ready to use them.

Recommendation: Buy extra poly liners when buying this product. You'll need them for frequent use with either lotions or paraffin wax.

I have suffered from extremely cold feet for a number of years, but never like this year when it started to bother me in October! I was running my space heater pointed at my feet and when I got an electric bill for $230.00 I nearly died.

I spend many hours sitting at a computer and tried the heated floor mats, which were fine for the bottom of my feet, but the tops still felt frozen. Needless to say I was THRILLED when I found these online.

I never realized how warm the rest of your body can feel when your feet are warm and toasty! I am in heaven when I am wearing them.

I had to give these heated booties 5 stars to counter the idiots who gave them a low rating. So what they are not so comfortable, they work great and my feet have never been warmer (or happier!)

I've been on the hunt for electric slippers for quite sometime since my feet get ice-cold, and while there are some options - most get terrible reviews. After purchasing and returning the Dr. Scholl's DRMA7801 Warming Foot Massager, I understand why: it was comfy, but never got remotely warm (the reviews did say that, but I was desperate)! So while these booties may lack spa-like luxury, if what you're after is something to warm your feet, these are great and the best option I've found. Finally!

Great item if you really get cold feet. I read some reviews where people didn't like the plastic on their feet, but just wear socks and they are wonderful. They are a little stiff, but definitely work. I use them almost nightly.
