The sound is very good for a digitally distributed show.

From the very beginning this is 1 hour and 30 minutes of pure furious rocking out. Mastodon sound better than they ever have, and it gives me a new appreciation for the Hunter, which I do not like as much as their older stuff. Very little is played off of Crack the Skye and a surprising amount of old stuff is played near the end, which I enjoyed immensely. Nothing kicks more ass than Iron Tusk rolling into March of the Fire Ants. To top it off the lighting and direction is amazing, it looks gorgeous, especially the bit at the end with the red balloons. Major props to all involved in the making of this video.

A great Mastodon show that spans their entire catalog; with great sound. Loved it. Mastodon is an amazing band, and it is good to have a collection of their live performances with the sound tailored to them, and not just live caps from a festival environment. I like the live cuts from The Hunter, and the fine performances from their previous releases.

Love Mastodon. Really tight show, but by god, who edited this thing? Endless rapid jump cuts. You can hardly make out who your looking at before it goes to a different camera. And it's always on the 1st beat. I dunno if they were trying to make up for a lack of energy from the performance - the band doesn't really move around a lot.

Great set list and good performance. The film editing left you dizzy at times. Wished it would stay with one camera for more than two seconds. Very happy with my purchase and I'm sure any mastadon fan would be.

This video sounds great, but I couldn't give it 5 stars. The only reason is the shoddy editing that almost leaves you feeling dizzy. I'm a big fan of the band though I've never had a chance to actually see them play live, so this video was definately a nice addition to my collection. The band sounds great, even if the vocals are a bit low in the mix. I feel that the setlist was pretty good as it covered a good portion of their career. If your a Mastodon fan you won't regret adding this to your collection.

A crushing set list and a great venue make this a very excellent example of what Mastodon is capable of. If you've seen them before you'll be left wanting more. If you haven't, it'll show you exactly what you're missing.
