When you see the title of this CD, you may think it is another classical album from India's famous singing legend. Alas, it is not, instead concentrating on putting together songs from different albums for the purposes of this compilation. Although it is Lata, it is time she sung different Mata - related bhajans. There are so many other, traditional and maybe even better songs about the Goddess out there, which capture the essence within a more classical raag. They should be chosen for such a mystical sounding compilation. Unless you like garba - style songs, this album is strongly recommended. If, however, you are more into a classical style of music - and one you know Lata can render so meticuluously - than this would be disappointing.

Since, i have been listening to her songs all these years , it still sounds new and catchy to me with her new releases (everytime...)She is no doubt, the NIGHTANGLE of the India Music world and my Favourite
