this fire truck is awesome, first of all it is huge! but very easy and light for little kids to steer, the steering works really well. its a great bonus having the storage areas for small cars or anything else. it has lights and a siren noise, also a mans voice says "extend the ladder" and when you push it again it says "great job". its not quiet, but not so loud as to be a bother to parents. but this truck has so many cool features even without the sounds/lights. i'm not sure the age recommendation on this but it would be a GREAT toy for a toddler just walking, since it is safe and durable. also fun for 'bigger' kids, my son is five and likes it.

We just gave this to my 2 year old for his birthday. What a hit!! Both he and his 6 year old brother love it! It's durable, fun, easy to learn how to use. When the 2 year old heard the siren and watched his car go down the ladder ramp and in to the storage under the hat - he squealed and jumped with delight! Well worth the money!

This fire truck is sooo cute and my son loves it! It is very large and has lots of storage in the back and under the hat.
The truck even stears back and forth with a handle bar on the back of the ladder. I also like that there is a switch to turn of the sounds. A little pricey but it seems to be well built.

We just spent a living fortune express shipping this to Hawaii for our son this Christmas. I have to say it is money well spent, he just loves it!!! His grandfather gives him a new hotwheel or matchbox car every time he sees him, so his collection is growing. I wanted to find a better way to store them than a case or a basket, and this does the trick. He loved putting all his "trucks" away tonight before bed.
It is a neat toy all on its own and and the storage is an added bonus. My son is only 26 months old, but I don't see why it has a warning as a choking hazard for a child under 3. It really looks impossible for a child to choke on any part of it.

It is super cute, durable, and a much better quality than we expected. Warning, it is really big, much bigger than I had envisioned it. At two years old my son had no problem figuring out how to lift the hat, and push the button to raise the ladder and deposit cars. I would have given it a five star rating, exept for these two things.
1) It has loud sirens. They aren't that obnoxious as far as noise making toys go, but after an hour of repetition it can start to get to you. Don't let this keep you from buying it, it really isn't that bad, I just didn't know it made noise. I will have to check and see if it can be turned on and off.
2) The hatch in the back opens on its own and is difficult for my son to pop back into place. This frustrates him and he has to ask for help closing it. In time I'm sure he'll figure it out, but for the moment it is a small annoyance.

Holds lots of cars, make's cool noises, you can steer it using the ladder, but very light and easy to move. Cars use ladder as speed jump into hat. Hat is a bit cheesy, but the Toddler loves the whole thing. A touch pricey, but built well for the money, got it at Costco

this was purchaced for my 2 year old grandson.he has many matchbox cars that are always being missplaced and this was a way to teach him the value of picking up his toys and keeping them in one place organized.
