My 3-year old boy LOVES all the Matchbox Mega Rigs (he also has the Snow Monster set and the Dinosaur set) and Shark Escape is a nice addition to the collection. They are all very sturdy and none of his rigs has broken even with heavy use. Every day at some point he will say, "Let's play with RIGS!" He can mix and match and really use his imagination to the fullest. I HIGHLY recommend the Mega Rig toys, they are MUCH more fun and durable than the usual Matchbox sets (which my son tends to use for a few days and then they are quickly forgotten). One note about Shark Escape is that I don't think it would make a great stand-alone toy, as it consists of just a shark, a guy, and one truck and cage -- but in conjunction with another Mega Rig set or two, it's great, especially if your little one loves trucks AND sharks!

The Matchbox Mega-rig line has been a lot of fun for my boys. All the parts are interchangeable amongst each of the different trucks / sets. All the mega-rigs have multiple configurations and therefore enhance playability. Some small parts as advertised, so be careful with the little kids.

My 4 and 6 year old boys LOVE this toy. They play with it in the bath, pool and indoors. The battery compartment did not last under the water but I guess I never expect those things to last. They play and pretend and put many boats, etc together. I would recommend this toy to active imaginative kids especially if they like under water things.

My 5 y.o. son loves these but there are too many little toys to keep track of. I haven't figured out a way to keep it organized yet (possibly ziplock bags).

Durable and great for little imaginations. We really enjoy Matchbox products. They tend to be better thought out and more durable than similar Hot Wheel sets.

This was one of the two things my son asked Santa for....he was so excitied when he recieved it. Its made great....lots of parts but a six year old can handle...takes in the tub and plays with outside...holds up wonderful..........
