I'll start out by saying I received this truck yesterday and am taking to the post office this morning to return. Do not waste your money, the only thing about this truck that is like "Rocky the Robot" is the color. I guess we can say "What do you expect for $20." The descriptions makes it out to be completely like Rocky except smaller version. Not at all, yes it will say a few phrases, if you push down on the cheep looking load of gravel (I think that's what its supposed to be) in the dump bed. Yes will go up like Rocky, if you push it up and then it will say something. Besides losing my [...] for Rocky, I am now having to pay [...] to return, besides the shipping that Amazon charged me to send it to me. (even though I ordered it with other items and should have been free shipping) Have learned my lesson, only order things that I have actually seen somewhere else.

The description from Amazon was almost verbatim to the one for the other Rocky the Robot. This one has much less functionality. I would say this toy is more in the $12 range of functionality. I am returning this one. I am disappointed in Amazon's description. Usually, the descriptions give me a pretty good idea about the type of item I am buying. Maybe Amazon took this description directly from Mattel, who perhaps is to blame for the inadequate description, which led me to purchase this toy.

I agree. I got three of them today and what a joke. They are nothing like the bigger version and so I am returning all three tomorrow.

At Christmas time we were really on a tight budget, Rocky was 2nd on my Daughters list so he was a "had to get" I could not afford the big Rocky that she really wanted, but she could not tell the differance once she opened the mid-size, she was just as satisfied to see Santa remembered to get her Rocky, she loves him and plays with him all the time (we might splurge and get the big one for her birthday) I think this toy is an affordable "test drive" to see if the kid really loves him or if its just a waste of time & money fade the kid is having. I am glad I got him first because now I know the big one will be a good upgrade investment.

Great toy was a wee bit smaller then expected. I love it cause my 4 year old has her "rocky" which she really wanted but hardly plays with so I did not spend big bucks on the full size just for her to put it in her toy box.
