My son got this truck for his 5th birthday. So far, it seems to be durable. It does everything it's supposed to do (as seen on TV...). It has a ton of phrases and voice interaction- "Make a sound if you want me to dance". The price seems to be worth it. I would definitely recommend this truck to anyone looking for a fun toy for a boy (or girl)!

I got this toy for my 5 year old but my 3 year old and 10 year old love it. It does a ton of different stuff, looks cool, and even though my boys have been given it a go - it has held up great. Seriously, a great gift or something for the kids. You won't be disappointed.

This is such a neat toy! It does everything you see in the commercial and has held up very well to some rough play. It dances, moves around and talks, and my 3-year old thinks it's the coolest truck in the world. His favorite part is when the truck stands up on its hind wheels and dances. It is a little more pricey here on this site (more reasonable locally) but seeing the joy in my son's face as he explores this robot truck has made it all worthwhile. Highly recommended!

I wanted to write a review on this product as a warning to everyone. We ordered this truck as a present for my 4-year old's birthday, upon careful inspection of the truck itself he really does enjoy it. BUT BEWARE OF THE PACKAGING!!! This is why, In trying to remove the toy from the box, I first took the tape off of the lid and opened the box, next I'm trying to get the piece of cardboard the truck is tied to out of the outside cardboard box (which of course is also taped together#. Upon finally getting the boxes separated I find on the bottom of the outside box #so it was in between the outside cardboard box and the piece of cardboard the truck actually sits on and is tied to) right along with the directions is a spring loaded box cutter (RAZOR BLADE AND ALL!). If I had opened the box from the bottom instead of the top) it would have been the first thing I had in my hands. The UPC code is 0027084740684, MFG PART 0002708474068, ALT SKU WI 8625, on the box cutter it says "MATOR-HANDY INDX #444, SOLINGEN GERMANY", P4458 is printed above the UPC, 23990F is the number actually pressed into the bottom of the box under the UPC. I would recommend that everyone open the bottom and potentially the top of the box and just make sure there's nothing extra in the packaging before wrapping it up and leaving your child to open it on his or her own on Christmas morning.

My 3YO son loves his Rocky the Robot! All the kids love it, and the adults love watching the kids play with it. They dance with him, talk to him, and can play with it like a regular old dump truck. Very happy I purchased it for a Christmas gift. Plus, I was pumped to get it at Amazon's great price.

My 2 year old grandson and I played with one of these in the demo mode while waiting on his mom. We were really enjoying it, so I decided to order one to keep at my house for when he visits. When it arrived, I had to try it out! SOOOO cute. I can't believe all of the things it does. Dances, exercises, dump any thing put in the bed, talks, jokes, and even f*rts! Fist non-adult toy I've seen that does that. First truck I've seen that does that! I showed it to my 30 year old son and he was having so much fun with it that his wife asked if she needed to get him one.

The frustration-free packaging is great. No twist ties to undo. I hope more children's products are available like that.

I ordered this truck for my son's 2nd birthday as he is really into trucks and it seemed that it would make a good replacement for the Elmo Live doll that was not very durable. It looks cute and dances and talks just like the commercials, but for some reason my son and some of his older friends just don't have any interest in it. It is a little loud and awkward when it moves, so maybe he is scared of it. For the money, I'm disappointed, but have hopes that this cool dumptruck will be more interesting when he gets older.

This is the "big" present that my son (age 3) wanted for Christmas. It is a very funny little truck. He likes it, but honestly all of the adults have almost enjoyed it more. Rocky is a crack up!! He has played with it a bit each day (and quite roughly I might add.)It seems to be very sturdy. I would Recommend it.

Bought this for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas and I think he is going to love it. I played with it and ROCKY is so cool and talks very clear. Just ordered it yesterday and recieved it today; so don't know how durable it will be but it seems to be very well made. Don't believe I will regret getting this one, such a fun toy.

It's a fun, cool toy for adults, but a little difficult for anyone at the stated age range or even a little before. It makes a lot of noise and requires a lot of parental intervention. There is a lot of waiting that has to occur. Have you ever met a kid? Do they understand anything that's not instantaneous? Nope. The truck does this cool thing where it stands on it's back wheels like a dog begging and it dances, talks trash, etc. But to get it back down, you pull the handle and wait. My kid doesn't really understand the delay. Then he tries to push it down manually which isn't good. Wonder how long it'll last. Then sometimes it gets confused and thinks it's up on its back wheels but it isn't, so it makes this loud cracking noise repeatedly that's a) annoying b) alarming - you're sure it's going to break and then I have to get up and go stand it up, pull the handle and put it back down again. As another reviewer said, it also exhibits some strange behavior if your kid takes his hand and pushes it along by the back bed. Sometimes it makes the whole thing collapse and sink, as if they aren't supposed to drive it along like kids do with 99% of all vehicles.

Believe me, it's cool. It'll impress you the first day. But it gets really tedious, really fast.
