What happens when a rock meets a hard place? Finn and Juliet had known and loved each other a year ago, until her brother died in an accident. Juliet blamed his mandatory service in the military and was furious and hurt when Finn didn't support her in her calls for change. At the same time, Finn felt betrayed that Juliet couldn't see that he had to stand with his king and his country. So they parted ways, each brokenhearted but unable or unwilling to do anything about it.

Finn has spent the last year trying to forget Juliet. He's gone a bit overboard, earning the nickname "Party Prince", until his father insists that it's time for him to settle down. Since he won't risk his heart again, he agrees to use a matchmaker to hook him up with a woman he can at least be friends with. He's furious when the program matches him to Juliet, but intrigued enough by the changes he sees to at least have dinner with her.

When Juliet heard that Finn's engagement would soon be announced, she knew she couldn't stay in Delamer any longer. In spite of what he had done, she knew she still had feelings for him and it would hurt too much to see him with someone else. So she signed up with the matchmaking service in hopes of finding a husband that could help her forget. She wasn't at all happy to discover she had been matched to Finn, who she never expected to see again.

Their dinner together showed that their connection was still as strong as ever, but it also showed that neither had forgotten what tore them apart in the first place. They admit that their differences won't allow for a future together, but before they can part ways they are kidnapped and left stranded on an island together.

4.7 Star Review - Matched To A Prince (Happily Ever After, Inc. - book #2)

I recommend this book.

This book includes drama, passion, heartbreak, and romance throughout the entire story.

Juliet fled to the US when she believed Alain "Finn" was getting engaged. Now she is trying to get a husband and settle down via a matchmaking service. The owner is going to fix her up with the perfect match for her.

Alain is in the US to find out who his perfect match is. Little does he know Juliet is his perfect match. SO when she shows up at the party to meet his perfect match his is stunned that Juliet is there.

Juliet and Alain are taken from there car and put on a island. While Juliet wants off the island as soon as possible. Alain knows they need to stay and work on there relationship. He was told to get her and her family on board and marry her.

Can they get married with the past they have? Will they solve the issues of the past before becoming involved again? Will Juliet find out Alain has been lying to her?

This book contains a passionate story with two people who have a painful history. Each believes they were betrayed by the other. You will fall for both these characters as there story pulls you in and holds you hostage until the end.

Kat knows how to pull you into her stories by writes sweet but passionate romances.

Can't wait for the next book in this series.

This story is book 2 of Kat Cantrell's Happily Ever After Inc. series. These books can be read as a series or all on their own. Finn is a prince who in his youth fell for Juliet. Ultimately events happen and decisions were made that tore them apart. Will they be able to find their way back to each other? You'll have to read and see. Likable story that will leave you believing in fairy tales.

Personally, I think most people like a "fairy-tale" romance, but how realistic is it for an "ordinary" person to meet a prince and then develop a lifelong relationship with him. That's why I liked this book. First, the couple had a previous relationship, and the idea of them being matched by a professional matchmaker makes it more difficult for the writer to make it believable. At the same time, the fact that Juliet came from the same country and knew Finn makes the match realistic rather than some "pie-in-the-sky" event.
