I never had the impression that each donor's was intended for the person from whom they were cloned. Think about it: Suppose the organ recipient needed a kidney when the donor was twenty, but then didn't need another organ for a couple of decades. That way the donor would need to live into his or her forties or perhaps longer. If I read correctly, that never happens.

I agree. The donations were never specified as only going to "possibles."
