I bought and used this extract religiously because I liked the glycerine base and only knew how to make alcohol-based extracts... then I learned that you actually make them the same way, food-grade glycerine is just a lot harder to find, so I just make it myself now. I would still be buying it - and give it a full 5 stars - if it weren't for the $10+ per bottle.

But I have to say that this product REALLY works for daily use. Around this time last year, I had two part-time jobs working 8-hour days, 7 days a week with 4 days off total in 6 months. I would make a single cup of white or green tea every morning with a dropper full of extract, then took two droppers full around lunch time (straight on the tongue, no chaser needed). It not only gave me enough energy to sit through either a desk job or a retail job for those 8 hours, but then go home and work out for at least an hour, make dinner, start a fire in the wood-burning stove, clean up after the 3 guys I lived with and still be able to sleep soundly through the night; I never felt like I struggled with falling asleep unless I took it less than a few hours before bedtime.
