Cars fans will love it
My 3-yr-old adores this book. He's a big fan of the Cars movie, though, which is why. The artwork is fun and slightly different than the style in the movie, but everyone is fully recognizable. The only issue for me was trying to explain the concept of a mystical threat to a 3-yr-old, not to mention the idea of a practical joke. He is getting it, though,...

Not like the movie 'short'
A very simplistic story based on the movie 'short' from Disney's "Cars." Hard to understand without having seen the movie or 'short film.' Art work is okay. I was disappointed as my little guy LOVES the 'short' film.

I got this for my son because he loves the movie cars and everything to do with it and he especially likes the ghost light short. Because he's not yet 3, I think a hard board book would have lasted longer, but then again, I suppose this is for older kids. I just thought the quality of the book would be better.

Another favorite of my boys! This book follows the storyline of the Disney Pixar Short, "Mater and the Ghostlight." Simple language and good illustration. My sons "read" this story back to me by the pictures.
