Good reference book for science students and lay people,
By A Customer
This review is from: Materials in Today's World, Second Edition (Paperback)
Rarely is a technical reference book comprehensible or interesting to the lay readers. And rarely is a popular reference book sophisticated enough for the technical minds. This book appeals to both types of readers. Highly recommended for undergraduate students of physics, chemistry, engineering (materials science) as well as those who have a curious mind but who believe that they have no ability to understand science.
