It is nice to find a care plan book where the primary focus is the healthy expectant mother. The care paths and flow charts provide a clear concise review of the physiological and psychological changes associated with each perinatal period. The care plans flow from the review, empahsizing assessments, interventions and evaluations for normal healthy pregnancies. Each unit also contains flow charts and care plans for common variations and complications of the perinatal period. This book is a helpful complement to other maternal-child nursing texts and in nursing practice.

Was assigned to the Labor & Delivery floor and had tons of nursing plans (standard plans) to complete. This book was awesome!!! It answered about 90% of all questions that I had. Definitely worth it!
