This garment did provide some light support. And it was great for short periods of time and under more form-fitting clothing, but for longer periods of time, meaning 4+ hours, I needed something with more support. If you are in your sixth month of pregnancy, I would skip this item and go ahead and buy something that provides greater support now, instead of wasting money on two separate garments throughout your pregnancy.

This belly band is great for all day light to medium support. I was looking for a support band that I could wear under business formal attire during the week, and this works perfectly. It is very soft, stays in place, and relieves the pressure on my lower back and pelvis. I began wearing this close to 8 months along, and like it so much, that I bought a second one. It works for a petite frame.

In comparison, I also purchased a Gabrialla maternity Support Belt Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt - (Medium Support). The Gabrialla belt was not soft or comfortable to wear, sitting at a desk during the day. It was also often visible beneath clothing, especially business formal attire made of nicer fabrics. The Gabrialla belt, however, does provide better support during exercise, so I tend to switch from the Amon band to the Gabrialla belt if I am going to be exercising or walking for long periods of time.

Overall, this is a great band for all day wear for someone who works at a desk, but is active at points throughout the day.

Wish I'd had one of these for my other pregnancies! It helps take the pressure off of my stomach muscles and supports my back, so that when I exercise - which is mostly just a fast walk for me - my belly & back aren't killing me. I am short, (barely 5'2") and the baby has nowhere to go but out, so my belly always sticks WAY out when I am pregnant. I am now nearly 7 mo. along, and if I ever forget to put the Belly Band Pro on when I start walking, I notice almost immediately, and I go back and put it on!

I bought this product with some reservations because of complaints of it rolling up at the edges. I'm certainly glad I decided to go for it, because it's pretty wonderful! I am currently 27 weeks pregnant, and my back started talking to me at 25 weeks. As soon as I put this band on, my back shuts up! Fantastic! I wear it to yoga and to work every day. I'm a hairstylist, so I move around an awful lot and am on my feet pretty much all day. As long as I'm wearing the band (and compression stockings, and shoe inserts), I go home after a 9 hour shift feeling totally fine. The lines underneath aren't bad, either, and I tend to wear pretty form fitting stretchy clothes these days.

I'm not sure why so many people seem to be having problems with it rolling up. I'm wondering if they bought a size too small? I was a 6 or an 8 prior to pregnancy and seem to be close to the same measurements in the hips still. I ordered a medium. I have pretty curvy hips, too, and rolling up seems to be a problem I have with lots of other products that fit around the hips, even prior to pregnancy.

I'm so excited about this band that I'm ordering another one today, to make sure that I always have a clean one handy. I'm pretty sure that this band will be able to carry me throughout pregnancy and keep me away from those scary old fashioned belts!

I love this support band. I had tried others that I received as gifts and did not find them supportive enough. I am 9 months pregnant (due today) and I have worn one of these bands everyday since I was four months pregnant. I have not had a single day of back pain and only the tiniest of stretch marks. All the women in my family wish they had had this band as they are all sure this is why I am only one without severe stretch marks. My sister is now pregnant with her second child and I bought two for her and she loves them and wishes she knew about these for her first pregnancy. They will definitely last your entire pregnancy even if you only buy one. I have purchased several though as I like to wear a clean one everyday without having to do laundry everyday. They are very comfortable easy to wear for 12 plus hours. I look forward to putting mine on right out of the shower because I like the feeling of the support it provides, at this point I feel naked without it. I will be recommending this to any woman I know who is pregnant.

I can not go a whole day without this thing!! It has improved the pain in my lower back dramatically. There is an immediate change as soon as I take it off at night. It does role up in the back but it's not very noticeable and I mostly wear tight fitting clothing. In early pregnancy you can use it to still wear your old pants and cover up the open zipper. I am 21 weeks right now and loving it...I just hope it doesn't change as I get bigger. I am only 4'11 so a little weight on me goes a long way which is why I started having back problems at about 8 weeks, I couldn't survive anymore at 18 weeks. I was able to wear it like the girl in the picture until this past week. It now rolls all the way to just look like a little strap in the back but holds my belly up wonderful. But if I don't let it roll up, my back will hurt. I am very active as soon as I wake up, cleaning house, cooking, and running after a 2 year old. So once it adjusts a certain way on my back after a few minutes of walking around I am set for the whole day. We are not all long and beautifully pregnant like the wonderful women in the picture so don't stress about it looking so perfect on you. As long as you are comfortable that's all that matters!! Get it now don't wait!! =D

This product is a god-send for pregnant women. This is my first pregnancy and I am carrying twins. The pressure that I was feeling in my lower abdomen was so bad, but this belly band has support in the EXACT places where I need it- under the uterus, lower back and hips. Plus, it is lightweight, sheer and breathable. I don't know what I would do without this product. I sometimes even forget I am pregnant, when I am wearing it. All of my pains seem to disappear. I wear it everyday. I bought two- one in black and one in white. It is great under any type of clothing!!

I purchased this product for one main reason and that was for support...This has absolutely no support at all...It rolls up into your mid stomach area...It has no elasticity whatsoever..Even if i went a size up or down it would be the same resolution....Do not waste your money..If you look on the model wearing the item notice how her hands are holding the back down in place from rolling up..

Based on the great reviews, I purchased this to wear for support while working out though the rest of my pregnancy. While it does provide some support in the front, it provides little support for my back. It also tends to roll up at the bottom, which several other reviews also reported. Overall, for the money it's okay but don't look for great back support.

I bought both this and the Bella Band. The Belly Band Pro gives very good support and stays in place. I highly recommend it. I did not like the Bella Band. Not really supportive and always rolled down.
