Nesta is devastated. She has to wear braces. She thinks that no boy will ever look at her again without thinking of the killer shark in Jaws. mates dates and pulling power is a great book for people of the age 12-16. its all about teenage years and what teenage girls go through and what they think about. Mates ,Dates and Pulling power is about girls who think about boys and who talk about boys alot. As said above its sort of a book for girls but if boys really want to read that stuff then go ahead but girls might find it a bit more intresting and can probably resort to it more than boys.
