This book is very comprehensive and should be on the book shelves of all math teachers! The games are clearly listed by type and skill set in the contents section making it easy for teachers and parents to find a game working on the skills being used in the classroom. As long as you have a set of cards and common items found in a math classroom, you are ready to play. These games make learning fun! The book works on a variety of skills and can be used in any math classroom from Kindergarten to high school. The variations section for each game make it easy for teacher or parent to adapt the game to different abilities and skill sets. You will also find interdisciplinary games such as Tour the Planets or Tour the USA that not only works with math skills but also calls on students to remember where planets and states are. It is a must have for teachers and families!

This book is the first one that I have purchased from IPMG Publishing. I like the way that their books are geared towards educational professionals, but still useful for me as a parent. Sometimes I need to think about the instructions for the games and activities while we're playing and yesterday, my son commented that it seemed like I was learning right along with him. After that, we had a lot of fun paying the games. In addition, the books contain a wide variety to focus on building different math skills. I highly recommend this book.

I am a fifth grade teacher and my students love to play cards. Why not help them learn while they play! This book has great games and activities to reinforce math concepts that have been taught. Students are learning while they play. Great book!!
