I bought this product three weeks ago and I think that it will prove to be a very useful tool for teaching math. The idea of providing such a huge quantity of problems and solutions is quite unique (the publisher claims that this is the biggest collection in the world), and so far I have yet to find a similar product. The best part is that I can copy anything from the CD and use it to create and edit my own worksheets.

Pros: easy to use, includes all imaginable math subjects, detailed solution section (including hints), can be used to quickly create worksheets, only one disk (do not have to change disks all the time), uses MS Explorer to navigate the CD

Cons: not interactive (probably for some), not cheap, includes a couple of mistakes (publisher have to work on correcting them)

I think it was a good investment, I will be using it often from September.

This is the worst software product that I have ever used! I tried to use it to prepare for the GMAT, but it is a complete joke. At least 1/3 of the problems that I reviewed had typos or other errors. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.

I bought this software to brush up with my math and because of the good reviews but I am a bit disappointed and here is why.

The questions and hints sections are fairly good but when it comes to the answers for the questions, you should becareful.

I noticed there were many careless mistakes in the solution section, such as 420 + 62 = 502, so on and so forth. If do decide to buy it, make sure you check the solution for its correctness. Or, you'll be reworking your answer over and over again (like me), thinking what went wrong.

In addition, there are some repeated questions where they just changed some of the figures. You could argue that they wanted you to get you comfortable with these type of questions, but heck, I could have substituted the numbers.

Don't get me wrong, this software contains many useful questions and hints (at time very challenging) but for $... and change I expected some more quality checking and originality.

I am not sure if the people who gave 5 stars actually gone through the questions but for someone who actually worked through the sections, this software should not have earned 5 stars.

This math CD contains as many problems as possible, more than 100,000! Problems and solutions can be copied edited within Microsoft Word documents so I can create worksheets which help practicing. In my opinion this CD-ROM is essential for students and teachers dealing with math. Congratulations to the publishers!

I bought this CD-ROM on a conference and begun to use it. It helps me practicing maths and the software gives me 'unlimited' resources of Math Problems. It even gives step-by-step solutions so you can check your own solution. The 4 levels of difficulty gives you the opportunity to solve those level problems you are at. Great product, I can recommend it to everyone who wants to study maths.

This Math Collection made a miracle to my son. He is 17 years old and loves computer games but hates math...I bought the CD-ROM for him. He started to use it and HE LIKED IT. And imagine, he got a B on his next test.

Teachers and students can choose from more than 100 000 examples. It's incomparable! Step-by-step solution belongs to each example, which means advantage for students., they can practise and study by themselves. It's also useful for teachers, because problems and solutions can be edited and printed in any variations, so teachers can combine personalized tests. It's easy to use, practical. I recommend it to everyone who feels interest in maths.

This collection was the best buy for me ever: I never buy math problem book again, this contains everyting for me. Thanx.

I bought this CD-ROM and begun to practice my Math skills. The CD contains 100.000 Exercises and solutions, so I am able to check my solutions and correct the errors I made. It uses a brilliant idea: you can copy the problems and the solutions and paste into a word processing document. It allows you to edit a test/worksheet by yourself within minutes. If you are looking for the best Math resource, you've found it! Good buy.

I'm a math teacher. I recommend this CD to everyone, especially to students. It is more than useful, you can simply improve your knowledge by yourself - there are step-by-step solutions and unlimited number of examples, you never get bored...
