This is a clever and simple way to introduce arithmetic concepts to young children. The illustrations are gorgeous and full of expression and detail. I was impressed that a book this beautiful could actually be about learning math.

Greg Tang's MAKING SCIENCE COUNT: MATH FABLES TOO comes from an inspirational educator and follows up his original successful MATH FABLES with a blend of math and science stories for ages 3-6. The idea is to provide stories that will give kids a head start in math: blend a rollicking rhyme with lovely color drawings by Taia Morley and you have a real winner.
