About the Author

Mary Jane Sterling is also the author of Algebra For Dummies, Trigonometry For Dummies, Algebra II For Dummies, CliffsStudySolver Algebra I, and CliffsStudySolver Algebra II. She taught junior high and high school math for many years before beginning her current tenure at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Mary Jane especially enjoys working with future teachers, doing volunteer work with her college students and fellow Kiwanians, and sitting down with a glass of lemonade and a good murder mystery.

This is the third Mary Jane Sterling math book I've used and they are excellent. If you are having trouble with algebra and word problems or need a good review of the fundamentals, these are great books to have. The word problem review has been very helpful and I highly recommend it.

I absolutely hated this book. I stopped on page 2 because it began to become so detailed. I was lost and it made me feel so badly about myself again. The author is a lousy communicator and I would not recommend it.
