I have used this book with great success for 5th grade students. Very good flow of lessons, examples and problem sets. Also fun for the students!

Excellent purchase. Only thing that made the book used was that the previous owners name is in it which we erased. Great purchase came quickly and the book as AS NEW you could not ask for more.

I purchased this book for my upcoming 5th grader to get a head start on math for the coming school year. I bought this book as used but really the only thing that made it used was the name written in the cover.. it was like NEW! Not only did my daughter get to have a headstart on math for the upcoming school year, but it will also save her from hauling this heavy book back and forth from school everyday next year. The book itself has great instructions and lots of review.

This is the same book that the Schools use and you can get the teacher companion guide here too if your child needs extra practice. That one gives extra problems for each section. I ordered this because the book itself is VERY heavy, and my 5th grade daughter was having to carry it around at her after school program for hours every day, and back and forth from home each day. So we got this one that we can rip each Chapter of pages out of when her class is using them, to save her BACK. The seller I purchased from was great as well, fast shipping and perfect item.
