4.0 out of 5 stars Matrox Digital Version Triplehead 2Go
I am running this on a 3 LCD setup. The center screen is a 24in Dell Widescreen and the two side screens are Samsung 22in widescreens.
Setup: This was easy. Just connect up all the cables as per the diagram in the manual. You will need to find an extra USB input point as this version does away with the AC power adapter.

3.0 out of 5 stars Tread carefully if you have a Macbook Pro
This is an excellent product, but it would not work in my application, so 3 stars. Ease of use is low because you need to be above average in computer literacy to set this up. I wanted to hook my Macbook Pro 17" Core i7 with Nvida GT330 graphics card up to 2 or 3 1280x1024 DIV monitors running at 60hz. The Matrox website indicated for the resolution I wanted to run, I...

After installing the software and switching on you might find everything squeezed onto you LH monitor. Dont panic. Just go to the setup options in the Matrox Powerdesk and ensure you have selected the largest resolution in the Edit Mode List screen. Use the transfer arrows to move the desired option into the RH box.
In Use: So far I have used the Triplehead with FSX and GTR 2. In both sims the difference is amazing. I am running 2 SLI'ed GTS8800 Nvidia cards although FSX only uses one the screen resolution across all three monitors is very good. Not perfect. There is room for improvement in resolution but over all I can not see myself wanted to go back to just the 24in Dell and 1920x1080. The Triplehead runs at 3840x1024 but that is over a lot of screen real estate. The big difference is in the large amount of peripheral vision and in the ability to plonk those windows showing radio stacks, GPS and throttle consoles anywhere. I do a lot less opening and closing windows. As for the car racing - it is mind blowing as you really feel you are in the car.Matrox T2G-D3D-IF Triplehead2Go Dual-Link Digital Input Digital Edition

I originally bought the analog version of TripleHead2Go and was very happy with it but when the digital version came out I upgraded. I am currently using a 27 inch Samsung monitor in the center with 21 inch Samsung monitors on the right and left sides. When the pictures I posted were taken I was using three 21 inch Samsungs monitors and that worked really well as you can see but I wanted an even more immersive experience so I changed out the center monitor for a 27 inch. The pictures are from Lord of the Rings Online, Unreal Tournament III and one just using the triple monitors for normal day activities. I used to use the system to play World of Warcraft and it worked just fine. My home office is long and narrow so I wasn't able to back up enough to take a good photo to show all three monitors head on or how awesome the full effect is but you can get the idea from the pictures. For more detailed information on the TripleHead2Go please see my review on the analog version of TripleHead2Go, my opinions have not changed only gotten better. The bottom line is that this little piece of hardware really makes a major difference in playing games and every day computing :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, August 26, 2008
This review is from: Matrox TripleHead2Go Three-Monitor Graphics Expansion - Digital Edition T2G-D3D-IF (Personal Computers)
Great product. Does what it is supposed to do. Takes a little time to set up. The company website has lots of info to help troubleshoot. Recomend printing off instructions and some troubleshooting tips before installing. Difficult to read this info on your monitors when they are not working. Totally, completly satisfied. Best purchase ever.

I bought this unit and put 3 Emprex 26" monitors on it and run at 3840x1024 desktop resolution.
Works as advertised and the only real complaint I have with the setup is that older applications/games don't allow for widescreen gaming. FlightsimX is stunning however. Well worth the cost in my opinion.

This is an awesome product. I have a HP computer.
They don't like adding internal components. The
TripleHead2Go is external but gives you the same
features as a multi-monitor internal video card.
I have always used Matrox products. I am very
pleased with them.

I bought this product after deciding I would be going w/ a 3 monitor set-up. I didn't want to have to waist time configuring each monitors settings, so I went ahead & bought this instead. This produst is basically plug & play. I'm using this w/ my 3 Alienware 21.5" monitors w/ a resolution of 5040 x 1050!!!!!! Product works absolutely flawlessly!!!!!!! By the way, if people did there research before trashing a product they would have known what works w/ there system as the comapny's web page not only lists system compatability, it also provides you w/ the maximum resolution your system is capable of.

5.0 out of 5 stars The light at the end of tunnel, September 15, 2009

This review is from: Matrox TripleHead2Go Three-Monitor Graphics Expansion - Digital Edition T2G-D3D-IF (Personal Computers)
I bought it to use with Flight Simulator X.

Is more the time screwing the screw, attaching cables, etc., than setting the software. It's really simple, just Plug & Play. At least with Vista Premium 32bits.

Although I have the digital Edition, i'm using it as analog output with RGB screens, and resolution is great. The vision angle multiplies by 3 or more, discovering the reality of the game. It's better to use the bezel application to immerse into the game. However without it, still is possible to manage image cuts by adjusting the position of monitors (but that's not the idea).

I'll never go back to a simple monitor.

Good points: small size, easy to connect, easy to configure.

Not so good point: With Bezel application the two lateral images become shorter (horizontally)

This is an amazing way to get 3 monitors at once off of 1 computer. I use it for Flight simulation. Worked perfectly out of the box. I would buy one again if needed. Great value and function

i recently used this for a 6 screen video wall (2 matrox triple heads on a 2 output video card), and it worked beautifully. just make sure your card supports high resolutions. im running it at 4800x600. also converting the signal to hdmi and using cat5 extenders with no signal issues. windows 7 has support for multiple video drivers through the OS now finally, so im sure you can do even more with these little boxes.

We use this brand at my job. They get hot very quickly and burn out after about 6 months. I have been forced to use these for about two years now. What a rip off. I truly hate these little fire boxes.
