4.0 out of 5 stars A little pricey
This was a fun Christmas gift. However, I didn't realize that the toy is just a thin plastic shell; a bit thicker than a plastic Easter egg. I don't think it will last beyond the first adult accidentally stepping on it. Until then the kids enjoy taking it apart.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wish they would stay together
I can get over the fact that they are plastic but they do not stay together so my son cannot carry them around unless he is holding the top and the bottom. My wooden ones are way better.

I have a huge robot collection, and when I came across these I had to have them. I wish they were made out of metal instead of plastic, but they are a lot of fun! All the pieces fit perfectly inside of one another, and the pictures on each robot are unique and different from one another. They go well with the rest of my collection. I would recommend this toy for anyone who is a collector or a kid that is old enough to not choke on the smallest robot.

When I saw these online I just knew as much as I wanted the 'Monster' version my friend NEEDED these 'Robots' more and hey it was Christmas and giving is better than receiving, right! So what's the score here? While adorable they are cheaply made and overpriced by at least $5. Sadly this will be the last set I buy for me or anyone else.

Since my 5 year old son liked to play with a friends (much more expensive) nesting doll set, I thought he'd enjoy these. The easter bunny brought them for him and he has barely put them down since. He loves showing everyone how they work. They are very cute and seem pretty durable so far. He's now saying he wants Santa to bring him the Christmas version.

I bought these for my 2 year old for his birthday and he loves them! So does his 4 year old sister. I might get her a different kind for her birthday. I feel these are the cutest ones though!! They may be made of plastic but I think they can endure a lot. We've had them for over a month and my son throws them and drops them on the floor a lot and none of them have been broken yet. I felt the price was ok for these. My kids play with them a couple times a week. I feel these little robots have already given my kids $13 worth of entertainment. They are easy to open/close. The smallest one is a choking hazard for kids that put things in their mouth the warning does say I believe for kids 3 and up.

I purchased the Fang, Ninja, and Robot matryoshka madness nesting dolls for my boys, and they all love them. They are plastic, not wood, but I think they will hold up fine as long as no one goes out of their way to stomp on them or anything. My boys love pulling them all apart and setting them up and having little robot/ninja/monster wars with them. They also love that even the tiniest one opens up and they can hide a tiny treasure inside it.

Fun toy if you love robots like we do! The smallest robot is pretty small so be careful giving it to very young children. The pieces are plastic. I thought that was a minus until I saw how much our boys played with them and how rough they were and now I'm glad they're plastic and not a thin wood.

My 4 year old has not put these down since Christmas. He is an active mechanical kind of kid. He loves the classic Sesame Street clip of the dolls stacking themselves and has been asking for stacking dolls for months. These are plastic and well made. They open and close easily for little hands and the graphics are amusing for both kids and adults. I was very happy with Santa's purchase.

I've had these robots on the 'to purchase' list for 2 years, and finally ordered them for the Holidays this year. Seriously, who can resist the concept of matryoshka robots? They're plastic, not wood like the familiar dolls, but they haven't broken and my son has enjoyed playing with them. You can put anything inside the bigger ones, a small car, coins, marbles. What's not to like?
