I bought this gift for my hubby and we love playing it. We also have "Riff" and didn't like it nearly as much. It's a great game for music trivia buffs and has really cool video clips and puzzles. We'd highly recommend it.

Music edition of Scene It has provided us with hours of entertainment! My wife and I are both music lovers and even though I think I know music history and songs really well, you will be surprised to learn even more or get stumped. The game is not all trivia, there are some questions that test your wit and observation without knowing anything about the artist or song. If you are good at "Name that Tune", this will test you as well.

The game also features the flex-board so that you can play shorter games without having to go all the way around the board.

Just what I expected from the Scene It games.....Original video clips from MTV years....Some questions too easy, but this is good for the minor music fan.....

I received this as a Christmas gift and it's great. I would recommend having more than 2 people play though, because it can go by pretty fast.

Not extremely extension on the music trivia (wish there were more pre-1970's trivia), but it is a fun game.

I purchased this as a gift for my adult nephew. He has the "Scene It Movie Version" and we have played it at family gatherings and it was fun for all ages.When I saw the music version I thought it would be a perfect gift for him. He is a music teacher by profession and our whole family is very musical. We played it right after he opened it. It's a perfect game for anyone of any age that likes music and trivia.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my friend so of course, the night he opened it, we had to play. We decided to play the long version (opening the gameboard all the way and only moving our pieces if we got a question right) which made the game last about 3 HOURS. The past reviews are right. It's challenging to someone who knows a lot about music (the friend I bought this for knows every back story about every song on every album for every band - or so he thought) and it's fun for people who really don't know anything (as his girlfriend showed by winning but still not knowing a Bob Dylan song when she heard one). Overall, it was fun because the questions spanned from the '50's to the '90's, plus I think a few questions from the 2000's. I love the '60's so I got to wow my friends with my knowledge and we all know the '90's pretty well as that's when we were all in high school. I say it's educational because we still learned some interesting things from the game. I'd recommend this to anyone from their late teens to their 70's.

My friends and family love all the Scene It games. If you are a trivia buff, these are for you!

This is a great game if you're a music buff. It seems to concentrate more on the 70s and newer music. There are a lot of good questions, things you have a good chance of knowing. The only problem I see is once you stop playing then go back to it some questions get repeated even though you can do a "preset" game play to choose up to 20 different plays. I don't know if that's because of the DVD player or not. Overall, it's a very fun game.

This is just so much fun, the interactive DVD with remote, with board game really is a hoot!
