Fishing Fun,

This is a good game for a 3 or 4 year old. The suction cup fishing pole is used to pick up cardboard fish. You can play by either matching colors or numbers, so it reniforces color recognition for younger children and number recognition for slightly older kids. It is also a good memory game. My three-year old loves to bring this game on playdates, and she and her friends always enjoy it. The fishing pole works really well- we havent' had any problems with it. I wouldn't buy this toy for a child over 4, however, as I feel that older children would quickly become bored with it.

A Suction Cup? Please!,

They need to revise this game - the idea is good, but the suction cup ruins all the fun! It is hard to catch any fish on that cup, which is also very small. We had to moisten the darn thing to get anything stuck on it, and even then it takes some pressure to get a fish hooked. Returning it back to the store.

My kids, 2.5 and 4.5 love fishing and playing this game. We make up how we are going to play and then Go Fish! It's great to get my 2.5 yr old to push the suction cup down (hand/eye and fine motor) and color recognition. It also works on my 4.5 yr olds number recognition - I may even write a few alphabet letters on them to help with those too. Taking turns is what it's all about at this age - we definately need to work on that! :)

I BOUGHT THIS TOY FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. IT TAKES SKILL TO "CATCH" A FISH WITH THE PLASTIC SUCTION CUP FISHING POLE. SHE HAD A HARD TIME GETTING THE FISH TO STAY ON THE POLE AND LOST INTEREST QUICKLY. SOON AFTER THE FISHING POLE BROKE AND IT ENDED UP IN THE TRASH.

My 3 year old son LOVES this game and picks it more than any other when we're playing games. I like that the rules can grow with him.

This game is a hoot for my identical 3 year old twins! They love identifying the colors and numbers. But their greatest thrill is finding the "old dirty shoe", which seems to be quite hilarious to them. This is a great toddler game to reinforce what they are learning daily.

My 3 year old LOVES to play this game - it comes with two variations, but we even make up our own. It is simple, cute, inexpensive and a whole lot of fun!

At 2 1/2 this is one of the first games my daughter could play. She loves finding her color, and helping others find hers. It doesn't even need to be competitive. She loves for everyone to get their boat filled. Sturdy cards and great fishing pole.

I just bought this game for my 2 1/2 year old. She loves it! She is learning to take turns and loves to "catch" the fish and put them in her boat. I like that there are 2 levels of play. One for now and one for when she gets older.

My 3-year old loves this game and the fishing pole makes it very fun. I didn't think the suction cup would work very well, but it really does! Great game!
