Players place Toss Across on the floor and turn all targets with the blank side up. Each player or team chooses to be an X or an O and gets three bean bags. Players take turns tossing the bean bags underhand or overhand, trying to turn up their symbols. The object is to be the first player or team to turn up three of his symbols in a row. Fun for children and the whole family.

I was eager to play the game I spent hours as a child playing with my own boy, only to find that this inexpensive piece of plastic is not the same game. It is much smaller (both the unit and the beanbags), and extremely light weight. Unlike the game made in the 70s, the rollers have a hard time "rolling" because of their flimsy weight, and the overall size is so small you have to be very close or very accurate to play. I am sure it will get some use, but I doubt this version will attract the followers that the origional did.

Toss Across is a classic toy. We purchased this toy because we remembered playing it when we were kids... and I think I'm enjoying it more now than I did twenty years ago. Because it's a mix of skill and luck, anybody can win (kids can beat adults), but it's still a great toy to bet on.
I only wish it held together a little better... the little plastic wedges that are used to hold the support bars tight tend to fall out pretty often (we've already lost one). However...we could always replace the whole thing.

I am purchasing my second Toss Across...The first one was purchased in the 1970's. I loved it as a child and love it as a mother....This toy adds a physical component to the old Tic Tac Toe game, making it more challenging plus it gets kids off the couch!! Buy it for your children but be sure to play with them!

I bought for a preschool teacher. She loves it. Her kids work on different aspects of the game

Awesome Game
Played this as a kid & wanted to share with my granddaughter so I actually gave to her and my son in law as a Christmas/Birthday gift. They both love it. Good family nite game!!!

Great game, great fun!
I had a toss across when I was a kid in the seventies, and now I get to share the fun again with my kids. Takes tic tac toe to a whole new level. Lots of fun!

Fun for the kids
I had one of these when I was a kid, so when I saw this on Amazon, I had to get one. I bought this as a Christmas gift for the kids...they are having a blast playing it.

bad quality, very cheap toy
DO NOT BUY THIS!
Cheap made, very cheap made,and breakable. I got this toy for Christmas but my kids don't even use it it's hard to play with.
