I ordered this set as a gift for my little sister (age 9), who loves High School Musical. When I received it, the "Try Me" button to make the dolls sing did not work. Also, it appeared as though the dolls were connected by non-removable wires so that they could sing in unison (making them not very fun to play with).

However, after opening the box as carefully as possible (so that I could still give it as a gift)to make sure the dolls actually worked, I determined that while the "Try me" button did not work, once the pull tabs were removed the dolls sang just fine. Also, the wires that are inserted in the dolls backs can be removed so that they may be played with separately. Each has a button to press for singing.

The dolls do not sing the whole song (although most of these dolls do not). Also, the manufacturing details state that they are dressed exactly as in the movie, which they are not. Finally, the clothing the dolls are wearing looks pretty cheap.

Still, I give the set 4 stars because my sister (and most HSM3 fans) will love them and, even with all the hassle, you're getting a pretty good buy for your money.

Couldn't beat the price for this from Amazon. My girls love these characters. The dolls are in great condition and built to last.

its a cute toy my daughter liked it she was not very fond of the wiring that was connecting these two so that they can sing together kids dont do well with exposed wires. .they were just hanging there.

I bought this for my two girls who love HSM, and they love playing pretend. Both dolls have a button on the back which when pressed makes them sing "Right Here" from HSM3. They like to try and press them at the same time so they will sing their duet. Very cute Barbie-like dolls. If your kids love Troy and Gabriella, they will probably love these toy versions.

After a few days, the clothes were off and the wires were torn from dolls. Not meant for a 5-7 year old for sure.

these dolls were nice, but they are not durable. one doll's arm fell off.

My daughter is a HSM fan and she loves re-enacting scenes from the movie. The dolls are also Barbie size so she can play with others.
However, she complained that Gabriella's hair got really messy really soon and we can not seem able to brush them smooth.

My daughter is a huge hsm fan. I got her these dolls for Christmas and they are her favorite barbies by far. Gabriella's hair is beautiful in ringlets that stay. Both dolls sing when you push a button on their backs. Their batteries seem to last well since they have been "singing" a lot lately, but you can change them when they do run out from the looks of it. I saved a ton ordering this pair from Amazon rather than local stores since I caught a great sale. Thanks!

these dolls were requested by my 9 year old granddaughter...she loves the characters because of the movies and now she's enjoying the dolls also... she acts out the movie and is having so much fun...they're nice for the kids...
