We bought all of the Hot Wheels Kidpicks accessories - Track Curve, Booster, Loop, Launcher, etc. Christmas morning when our 3 & 6 y/o girls woke up they discovered race tracks all over the living room left by Santa and cars in everyone's stockings. The entire family had a lot of fun all morning racing and trying not to crash. The curve track is a necessity unless you're just going to drag race down the hall. And be prepared to buy 2 or 4 box kits. The kit has 4 pieces and only 2 of them have the tongue connector that fit into the standard track. The others have clip shapes that only snap into each other. So you can only make 1 180/90/45 degree turn from a box. All of the pieces should have been designed with tongue connectors in my opinion, but how else could Mattel get more money out of you. So when you order, be sure to buy either 2 or 4 Track Curves otherwise you won't be able to connect the ends of your track to make circles and ovals.

They don't make 'em like they used to,

So this particular accessory for the new generation of Hot Wheels track leaves a little to be desired...It does serve its purpose, but compared to the solid one piece orange curves of old this is a loser. In order to fit this into their generic shlef hanging packaging they use for ALL of their accessories now, they have made this 180 degree curve into 4 pieces(just to clarify...the old items were one piece for 90 degress, where this one is 2). It also doesn't have a flat floor base like the old ones did, so you will need to support it with BOOKS of all things =].
The price is respectable compared to the $3.99 plus tax at Toys R Us, but my heart is not in this product like the new loops and the floor launcher and the gravity clamp(which are almost dead on to the old school product I remember from childhood). Order with reserved excitement...

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hot Wheels Track Curve (Toy)
Boy was I taken...Walked into a local Toys R Us and saw the exact item for $4.92 the week after I purchased this same item for $14.95 from Fun City....I simply trusted Amazon instead of checking prices elsewhere. I WON'T DO THAT AGAIN....
