we gave each of our grandsons one of these,and it has been non stop racing in our house since. they actually lived up to our expectations and performed just like they are advertised. old hot wheel tracks have been dusted off.our stairs are no longer for just climbing and the competion is fierce as to which car is faster. even the wiener mobile was competitive. this great toy is not just for small cars it also has a full size feature so that you can see how fast your bikes or even skateboards are going. the manufacture is quick to caution the user not check the speeds of full size autos for obvious safety reasons. but when used with common sense and simply following the enclosed instructions you are not going to be disappointed.

My son got this for his 7th birthday and loves it. He now keeps it in the van and checks the speed of everything and everyone. He even lets me know when I'm going a little too fast. It's a great gift at a good price!

Ok, I don't know who gets more of a blast out of this toy-we parents, or the kids! It's amazing to me that this toy is available in any store-especially considering it's price when so many hot holiday toys are so expensive. Everyone wants this thing in their hands-that being said it is tough to share, but it sure does yield serious competition for racing via practically any means. Exercise anyone?!! Skateboarders, inline skaters, runners, scooters, biking, frisbie and ball throwing, flying birds, autos of all kinds...oh, wait, were we supposed to play this with Hot Wheels pocket cars-yeah, it does that too (for rainy days I suppose)! Awesome fun!!!

My son loves this toy. I love it too because it didn't come with a bunch of little pieces (Our toy room is always cutter with little legos, magnets etc). My son didn't want this because it was hot wheels. He wanted to see how fast he and his friends were going on their scooters. It has been a blast, trying to clock our bird, sledding, and my son occasionaly hiding behind a tree to see if cars are speeding. This toy was worth every penny and I can see it being fun for many years to come. He is 8 and neighborhood kids from 5 to 15 have all enjoy the radar gun. I also must say this is a great toy for kids with high functioning autism/aspergers.

My 35-year-old son bought this for his nephews (3 and 5) for Christmas - but he couldn't wait to get it out of the box! Once it was out, both big and little boys had fun - and grandma even joined in a challenge to see who was the fastest runner. The full-scale feature immensely adds to the fun. I can see that my stairs, long used only for getting to the bedrooms, will once again become a raceway for everything from Hot Wheels to the hamster ball!

Get one - you will have fun, no matter what your age is!

I purchased 2 of the above product as Christmas presents for my 2 nephews aged 8 and 10 years. The guns, which tag the speed of actual passing automobiles, really work. Both boys were and continue to be thrilled with their guns. The guns are sturdy and hold up to being dropped on the pavement and tossed around by active kids. All in all, a great purchase.

Our 9 year old grandson asked for this Hot Wheels Radar Gun for his birthday in October. We could not find one in our town. He talked to Grandpa after the birthday party and asked why he didn't get the Radar Gun. Grandpa explained he couldn't find one. Grandson insisted he had seen one and "needed it". I went to Amazon.com, found it, read the reviews and ordered it for Christmas. Grandson asked again at Thanksgiving if we had found one yet. I whispered "yes" out of hearing of his siblings and parents. He won't "spill the beans" but his smile was a mile wide and worth every penny. They have a cat so I am sure she will be timed as well as toy cars and his brother and sisters. A real joy to give this toy to our wonderful grandson.

I've been messing around with this thing for the past month and am very impressed, when i bought it i had no intention of ever using it for hot wheels cars, so I cannot comment on how it performs in that reguard. On the other had I am an avid downhill ongboarder and have been using this to clock speeds at firt it was difficult to get a reading but I soon figured out that if the rider goes directly past the person holding the gun a split second b4 they pass it will give tou a reading. ive aslo compared to speeds on the radar gun to my cars speedometer and they are just about dead on give or take 1 mph. An amazing purchase would definatly do it again if for some strange reason i needed to.

This is a great product that really works. Obviously it is not as sensitive as the Police ones but great nonetheless. The scaling button for your Hot Wheels cars is a nice touch but it is very hard to aim at such a small object.

Great good value toy and nice and solid too.

A great toy that can actually be used as a learning tool when checking the speeds of different toy cars, people, birds, etc. All of the children love it--ages 3 to 10--and we parents had a good time checking it out also.
