This castle was purchased for my recently turned 5 year old daughter who absolutely loves it! She can open it and turn it the way she wants to. She can arrange the little plants and she uses it for hours with her Polly Pockets, her miniature fairies, her Jasmine princess set and her Little Pet Shop toys. They all seem to take wonderful turns living and visiting there.

After I put the castle together for her the first time, it's been a totally easy play toy. She has not once come to me because of structural issues with the castle. She usually wants to know where I think the plants look best and how far she should open the gates! This gets lots of playing time and it's so portable so she can play with it whenever she wants! I wish they made another one in another color so she could have her own little kingdom!

I purchased this castle set and one doll (Annelise) for my 3 year old and she loves them. I plan to purchase the carriage and another doll or 2 for her. It's fairly durable. If the gate pops off, she is able to put it back on no problem. What I like the most about this Barbie line is the small size and the low price...I just don't have room for the huge Barbie houses, castles, cars, etc. We can store all the pieces in a bin or basket and put it away (not that we ever do!).

My daughter received this castle for her birthday. She loves all the dolls that are sold separately. For the money, it is a decent buy. I was disappointed that it didn't come with more furniture. A bed or a little couch would have been a wonderful addition.

For $13, this is a perfect toy for a family that does not want a giant dollhouse in the house. This satisfies my daughter's wishes for a dollhouse, but comes apart, and folds up to go back into the small box that it came in. She can assemble it and we have not had trouble with it falling apart. (It would be nice if it had come with a few more accessories or furniture) She plays with her princess barbies and her other barbies in the castle all together. A good toy for the money.

For the price of this product, I have found it very worthwile. My daughter uses it as a backdrop for her princess play. The only problem with this product is the fact that it comes apart so easily. My daughter loves it.

The interlocking pieces are constantly coming apart but my girls love it anyway. Not a quality toy that will last for years and in my opinion not worth the cost.
