Product Description

Interstellar Wrestling League Idaho Jones has challenged the toughest fighters in the solar system to big-time, all-out, brawlin' bouts to determine who will wear the I.W.L. Championship belt. You can choose to be a "face" (good guy), or "heel" (not so good guy). Then, punch, kick, throw folding chairs and use hilarious secret weapons against some of the coolest wrestlers. But as you win match after match, Jones secretly collects energy given off during the massive brawls to transform himself from a lowly 'common-tater' into the most powerful hot-headed, 'psycho potato' in the entire galaxy. The final battle pits your character against Idaho Jones, the Uber Tuber. Remember, one final kick to his 'tator tots and the title is yours. The psycho potato with a monsterour ego game pack includes: one Interstellar Wrestling League Video Game CD, six Interstellar Wrestling League Game Cards, one Interstellar Wrestling League Manual. For use with Hyperscan Game System (sold separately).

do not get a hyperscan or any of the games. it failed for a reason. and that reason is: it sucks.

good things: it doesn't take up much space... i can't think of any more.

the choppy framerate, sluggish controls and agonizing load times kill any fun that this game possibly could have provided. this is true of all hyperscan games.

the card scanning is an interesting concept, but very quickly becomes a hassle. it is not like a checkout scanner: you can't casually pass your applicable card through the zone. it must be held stationary in a specific spot for a few seconds. i was imagining a game where cards can be swiped into the game realtime, and their effects seen immediately. in actuality, the games have specific times where you drop the controller, fish out an applicable card, swear several times as the scanner hiccups reading it, and casually saunter back to your controller as the game takes several seconds to process what the card means.

the idea that this was supposed to compete with the wii is laughable. everyone else has already figured that out. don't spend a penny on a hyperscan. you will not play it more than once.
