Limited to 13,800 pieces worldwide, this Gold Label edition from Barbie Collector brings back the gorgeous 1964 "American Girl" Barbie doll, wearing a recreation of fashion cat. #1616, a strapless cream satin gown with a netted over-skirt of vivid red and pink tones.The short bobbed "American Girl" Barbie hairstyle, circa 1964-65, is one of the most desirable to collectors (especially the 'sidepart' hairband variation of it). This repro features an ash blonde version of the "American Girl". Barbie also wears a matching pair of white opera-length gloves, pearl necklace, and pink open-toed sandals. The package comes complete with rose bouquet and trophy accessories, plus a removeable backdrop and dollstand for de-box display. An elegant addition to your classic Barbie collection!
