I purchased this toy as a accessory for my son's Halloween costume. He was Kakashi Hatake from his favorite show, Naruto. He has continued to play with the toy even after Halloween has long passed. The toy is very much like the Ninja tools that they use on the show and are very durable. They are very realistic and look like real metal, but are made of a soft rubber that do not make marks or hurt if someone gets hit. My son absolutely loves them. He pretends to be Naruto or one of the other Ninja characters all the time. It was well worth the money!

Though I was expecting hard plastic at first I was pleasantly surprised with what I received. They are highly durable and fun to play with. Before giving them to my siblings as gifts (knowing they weren't hard plastic made it a great gift idea) I had to test for myself. Again very durable and easy to use for even beginners. Over all a great buy for the mini-ninja(s) in your family!
