Mattel has done it again! They combined Barbie with a television classic, and made a hit. I first bought this for my sister, who loves the Munsters. I fell in love with it and I had to get one for myself! Barbie is stunning as Lily Munster, with the greenish skin, a beautifully crafted and detailed gown and jewelry, and that trademark streak in her long hair. Ken is even more fun as Herman Munster, with the stooped shoulders, flattop head, dark eyes, monster suit, and Frankenstein boots. He even has miniature bolts in his neck like Herman!! Even my husband got a kick out of that one.
For the avid collector, the box is really cool, too. The backdrop shows the front of the Munsters home and the back of the box has really neat television stills, a brief description and history of the show, and even fun quotables from the series! Both dolls come with doll stands, great for displaying, even with the box! Even if you didn't watch the show as a kid, you will flip for this! Barbie and Ken as the Munsters Giftset is a must-have for collectors who specialize in Barbie, dolls, ghouls, or television memorabilia! Five stars!!!

I have several of these collector edition Barbie sets and the Barbie and Ken as Lily and Herman Munster are already my favorites. The details of Lily's dress and Herman's horrible head are strokes of genius. The only problem is...I want to play with them! I may have to order a second set...

I thought the Barbie & Ken Munster dolls were very realiatic looking. Sometimes faces on the dolls are not good as others. My daughter is a Barbie collector and I know these will be one of her Favorites!(She is 21) My husband is a fan of the old Munster shows and was impressed by the dolls. (I am thinking of getting him a set too) Really!
The only reason I rated it lower on educational was not because of a negative response;but it is a fun toy.
