As are all things Barbie - it's very cute. But the reality is it's not easy to play with.

1) the bed is almost too small. Barbie fits on it, but she falls off all the time because it's so narrow. The package comes with a teddy bear, but the bed is so small, the teddy bear cannot fit if Barbie's in the bed!

2) Agree w/the other reviews - the chandelier barely stands up.

3) It would be nice if the bed had velcro to hold the cover and pillow on. As it is, they constantly slip off.

Nice ideas, but doesn't execute all that well.

It's a cute set, daughter loves the LOOK of it, but the lamp won't stand up on it's own, the chandelier part is too top heavy. The TV built on stand won't stand up well either, unless propped up against something. She just ended up leaving it set up in the box room the way it came and we taped the lamp down. However, that's not how I wanted it when we bought it. It would be nice to be able to use it for more.

I got this for my daughter and her Barbies. The size is good and the quality is pretty good. However, the pink light fixture will not stand up alone and has to be propped up.

This was a Christmas gift for my 8 year old Grand Daughter. She was very happy with it. However, it looks like I'll have to get some more pieces to the set. Oh well, she does have a birthday coming up soon. Another satisfied gift receiver.

the lamp is not very sturdy at all.
the tv is very nice the bed is very cool you can put the head board on the other side and make it kinda like a day bed .
the bed is super sturdy.
the nightgown on the barbie is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to tight and makes her bust hang out alotttttttttttt!
the nightgown is wayyyy to short and show her bottom when you make her sit .other than that its a really nice set.

My daughter has had this set for a few moths now and she does complain about a couple things.
Like the other reviewers we have trouble getting the TV and chandelier to stand up.
The little shelves on the sides of the headboard are pointless, they are slanted and if you try to put any of the little items on it, they fall right off.
The bed also is quite narrow and Barbie just barely fits on it.

However, overall she plays with it regularly and does it enjoy it and it is a very pretty set.

Well I didn't come across the problem with the floor lamp that the other reviewers did. I guess I got lucky there. Although my tv stand does stand up it is kind of wobly. I don't know how long it will last before my daughter bends it the wrong way or sits on it. When did mattel start making these tiny cheap beds. When I was little I had the sweet roses collection. That bed would not be able to fit well in this new dream house. It actually had room for Barbie and ken and had a foam mattress and a real bed skirt and comforter. I miss that quality.
