My daughter is a BIG fan of Barbie and the Diamond Castle. She has the singing Liana doll and has been asking for the Alexa doll to go with it. Unfortunately, that doll is not made anymore and if you do see it for sale it's about $80. This doll looks a lot like Alexa so I bought it. When my daughter opened this present she said "Yeah! It's Alexa!" She is really happy with it. The quality of it is pretty standard for your average mid-price Barbie. The hair isn't the bad, really tangly kind, either. Which is nice.

We received this Barbie as a Christmas gift. She love playing with this Doll, the only issues are...Her bodice is painted on. We have gotten past this by just saying that she has her swimsuit on when she is not wearing her fancy gown. She seems satisfied with that explanation. second, her hair looks like she stuck it into a socket. We have used hair detangler to help smooth it out. This is only a temporary fix. I do not know what they made her hair out of, but her other Barbies do not have this issue. Other than that, she is a great addition to her Barbie collection of "princesses." According to the price I have seen on Amazon, i would not pay that much for this doll...there are better ones out there.

The description did not say the doll's bodice is PRINTED on her body. Child was very disappointed(as I am)that the doll's ONLY clothing was a flimsy skirt. poor quality, over priced doll, misleading ad copy.
