My daughter got this toy for her fifth birthday. The water pump is really cool because it looks like the water's coming from the sink. The doll's hair stays really nice even after several hair washings. The dress is also nice because it is a little waterproof. The pink highlighter stuff doesn't work so well, but it washes out easily. The cape dosen't really prevent the doll from getting wet,but it dries pretty quickly. Although a little pricey, the set works pretty well, and is definitely fun for girls to play with.

My daughters (age 5 and 6) absolutely love this set! They could wash their dolls' hair all day anyway, and this toy made it even more fun! Yes, it is a bit messy from a parent's perspective, but childhood is about making messes, isn't it?! My main problem is that the pink stuff to make the highlights and the foaming "shampoo" were both used up within the first day of playing with the set and it appears that Mattel doesn't make a refill kit. So I've given them foaming soap for the shampoo (which isn't doing great things for Barbie's hair), but they are just out of luck for new highlights.

My 5 year old and 8 year old loved this toy. The only issue was the water bulb was difficult for them to hook up without assistance. Otherwise, kept them busy for a while.

I bought this for my daughters birthday, she started palying with it and I noticed she was turning red and had welts all over her body. I knew she was having an allergic reaction but didn't think it had anything to do with the toy. Sure enough the next day she started playing with it again, just as she put the dye in the dolls hair she started itching and everywhere she touch started swelling up. She was severly allergic to the dye. Mattel has no warnings about this nor would they give me a list of ingredients.

I took the toy backa nd would never recommend this to anyone.

My daughter loves to play with this item. It can be quite messsy since you have to wash the dolls hair but if you put a towel underneath the sink, it's fine.

my daughter plays with this more than the camper set i got, i think this 1 is a winner in her book.

Bought it for a Christmas gift for one of my granddaughters. Granddad was a hero for doing so.

This set is fun but is kinda messy!!! You have to have alot of towels under it and bye the barbie doll. This is a fun toy and keeps your child busy! I like doing the barbie dolls highlights too!

this is a really cute doll.. the price was right and my lil cousin totally loves it!!! amazon shipped this so quickly, within 2 dys i was surprised, esp since i bought it days b4 christmas

My daughter wanted this toy for christmas so I bought it. It is a messy toy get ready to clean up puddles of water. The dolls dress gets wet and it is just a mess. Wouldn't recomend for smaller kids.
