Kids will love the skill and action racing play with the motorized Cars Mack Track Challenge Playset. The action starts as Lightning McQueen boosts into high speed with the power booster. Next you can make a lane change by pushing and holding the button to make Lightning McQueen take the in-field route. But wait—Mack is on the track and is drifting! If Lightning McQueen can zoom up Mack's loading ramp he will launch right out of the top and onto the inner lane to take the lead! Includes one Lightning McQueen vehicle.
For Ages: 4 years & up.

I couldn't believe how cheap it was made considering the money it costs. It comes with 1 car, Lightning McQueen. It is not a metal car, but light plastic. That is why it works on the track. If you put a regular Car on it (Chic, King...) it doesn't work as well because they are metal and are heavier. They don't even always make it around the track. After about 1 hour of use, friction from the car hitting the sides of the track caused the stickers to peal off of the plastic McQueen car that came with the set. Then that car didn't work well because of the sticky residue on the track. It also uses up 4 "D" batteries in about 2 hours.
I would personally be embarrased if I released a product of this quality. The only positive thing I can say is, while it was working well that first hour, my boys loved it.

My son age 2 got this from santa and has been playing with it every day since he opened it and loves it. I also have a 4 yr old & a 1 yr old and they enjoy playing with it too. Other reviews have said it eats batteries, but I have found that Energizer last much longer than the other brands. Also I haven't found that the track is flimsy, it feels like it would be because of being light weight but it has withstood my kids pullin & stepping on it.

This toy is the worst kind of junk. Do not waste your money. We bought this for our son who is nuts about Cars and we made a deal with him that if he was successful with his potty training then he would get this toy. It was a great incentive for him. He was dying to play with it and it helped him achieve a big milestone. Then the toy failed to work right out of the box. The switch on the motor was loose and it pushed right into the housing. The whole thing had to be taken apart to fix the switch. The gears that drive the wheels that shoot the cars around the track drift apart and the whole mechanism stops working almost as soon as you turn it on - every time. It was completely useless from the beginning and it could not be fixed. Our son was very sad. We were extremely angry. What should have been a big reward for our son ended up causing a lot of unnecessary unhappiness. Disney and Mattel should be ashamed of themselves.
