I had trouble finding these in store, so I found them online and bought them for my son's 4 year old birthday. I got a great deal on them and my son really likes them. I will say they look and feel like cheap plastic, so was definately cheaper than I was expecting. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for these. They shoot out three discs that shoot out pretty far, which is nice, but also means they easily get lost. He lost one within an hour and the other two he has lost and found several times since then. I even found one in my chandelier! lol. I will say- if you get hit with one, they HURT! So be careful if you have small children and make sure you have rules in place for what can be shot at and where! I have a small bruise on my arm where he shot me with disc close range. Once the discs are lost, as far as I know, they cannot be replaced, so that cuff is pretty much useless at that point. However, the saving grace for this toy after the discs are lost (which will happen- believe me) would be the second cuff. The second cuff has a little compartment that opens- there are several buttons that can be pushed that make noise or talk. Very cute and my son likes to wear it and pretend he is talking into it like Buzz Lightyear. This toy is a great toy for pretend play and even though cheaply made is a great toy for the 3-6 year range for those Buzz Lightyear Toy Story fans. I would definately not pay some of the prices I have seen them listed at, though! $20 or less is reasonable for this toy, but given the cheap plastic construction and the non-replacing discs would not pay more than that.

My almost 4 year old really loves this toy! So far it's very durable and held up to lots of abuse. Really sparks his imagination. Great value too!

THIS WAS A CHRISTMAs gift for my grandson i was highly disapointed the cost was way to high the product was junk. i should have known to buy toys from a bookstore

The cuffs were about what I expected although the button can be a little difficult to press when my 4 year old has it on his arm. He mostly just carries it around and holds it in both hands to shoot. It would be nice to include more discs, with him shooting them and the cat playing with them they didn't last very long. He likes them but I don't really think they are worth the money.

The shipping was prompt and they arrived by the promised date in good condition.

My toddler loves to shoot the discs and run around pretending to be Buzz, however the discs shoot fairly quick and far and bounce off walls. He has spent most of his time (and mine)searching the house for missing discs. The toy only comes with 3 and all 3 of ours are currently missing after only 10 minutes of play time. I am pretty sure one is under the stove and another under the fridge. If you enjoy moving furniture and appliances this is the toy for you!

Our three-year-old had a lot of fun with these cuffs as part of the Buzz Lightyear costume we put together for Halloween. He loved firing the laser discs, and enjoyed communicating with Star Command. However, the straps do not last long. The rubber material tears very easily. They lasted little more than a month and were only played with a couple times per week.

We bought this, amoung a million other things, for my 3 1/2 year old son's hallowen costume. He haas the deluxe wings, the zurg vision binoculars, the talking/shooting cuffs, the laser gun, and the belt. Ok, yes, he clanked a little when he walked. When the 'laser monies' shoot out, they shoot fast and hard- so watch out. Its the same with the laser gun. This did provide an opportunity for learning about aim and manners, as he has never played with any toys that are remotely like weapons before. After about three months, everything still works perfectly and gets constant use. The wings dont go ALL the way up, due to another more destructive childs help, but its barely noticable. Our son certainly cant tell, he thinks it's the greatest thing. Ever. It was all expensive, but worth every penny. He dresses himself in the morning now, usually as buzz, and we can always tell his location by the clanking.

My son is a huge fan of Buzz Lightyear so these were the perfect gift. He was even Buzz for Halloween so these really added to the costume. The discs of course are never all in the same place but that's what kids do I guess. The cuff that makes noises is great. He just loves them - worth the little bit of money spent!

I bought these cuffs over the summer in anticipation for halloween! I broke them out the morning of my sons halloween party at school!! He is 4. He LOVED them!! He slept with them that night and has been playing with them NON STOP!!!! He loves popping open the thingy and pressing the buttons to talk,,and loves playing with the laser!! But WATCH OUT when they shoot those disks,they go far!!! This is definitly a GREAT toy for your buzz lightyear fan!!! So far its been a full 2 days since my son has recieved it and it hasn't broken yet!! But I can see how it would!!! I got this for a great price!!! I recommend this toy for your buzz fan!!

My 5 year old loves this toy. Unfortunately the cheap foam rubber straps that hold it to his wrists broke in less than 30 minutes. Another disappointment is the lack of a red light for the laser. Instead it shoots little discs (only comes with 3) which would have been lost by now if the toy itself was still operational. I suppose it's good for the imagination, he tries to pretend it works as intended. Refund or disassembly w/ heavy modification (if you feel up to the challenge) are really the only options until a better version comes out.
