Blokus To Go is a smaller, more portable version of the full four player Blokus game and the two player Blokus Duo. The mechanics remain unchanged - each player attempts to place all of their pieces on the board, provided no like-colored pieces touch edges, corners only. Unlike the less portable versions of the game, To Go has holes in all of the pieces to allow them to snap into place - both on the board and the storage trays. You'll want to be careful not to press the pieces down too tightly or they'll be difficult to get back up. That said, even with light pressure the pieces remain secure.

The game itself is great for kids, teens, and adults as there are varying levels of strategy that all age groups can find and enjoy. As a teaching aid for kids, it serves as a good 'intro game' that involves spacial reasoning, without heavy mechanics that could otherwise confuse children.

All in all, it's a good product.

This game was purchased for my husband for Christmas. We like that it is small and portable. Since receiving it, we have taken it with us everywhere we have went. I like that it is very easy to explain how to play, involves logic and does not take too long to complete. My 6 year old son, his 62 year old grandmother and our 30 year old neighbors have all enjoyed playing this game. We are definately considering getting the 4 player game.

Gave as a gift to a friend and she loves it. She takes it on road trips where her and her sister play all the time.

Great game- on the go or at home. The presentation is perfect, easy to play, store, carry, etc. I could play this game for hours!!

This is definitely a toy for an older kid. The parts are also easily lost since they don't stay on the board very easily (or they stay on too well and can't be removed.) Otherwise, it's a good game that builds analytical thinking.
