The Barbie Fashionistas dolls are all really neat because of their amazing posability. In addition to a fun & cute outfit, Barbie Fashionistas Sassy has excellent hair, right out of the box. She is my personal favorite of the Barbie Fashionistas dolls due to her out-of-of-the-box playability and her ability to look pretty through it all (no rat's nest hair trouble to mess with).

They are available for $10-13 at some big toy retailers, but can be very hard to find, including online.

We have unfortunately purchased several dolls from the fashionista line. My daughter was initially so enthusiastic about the poseability made possible by the joints in the wrists and knees. That turns out to be the biggest downfall of these dolls. It only takes weeks or even days for the hands to pop off, no matter how gentle you are. Once they pop off, you can see the tiny plastic loop that was holding the hand on to begin with is woefully inadequate. Some of the fashionistas have elegant clothing, but this belly-baring model with her insanely short skirt is only for the type of parent who would think it awesome to have a young daughter who emulates the Spears or Kardashians. Why wait until they are teens, start indoctrinating them to this type of dress while their age is still in single digits. I wish she did not even have to see this at the toy store...a negative educational experience. I recommend avoiding the fashionista line.

My daughter loves the fashionista barbies and has been wanting this for months. Whenever we go to the store they never had this doll. I looked at all the popular retail stores and even mattel's website and nothing! Thank goodness Amazon came through for me, it made Christmas perfect!
