I bought this Barbie for my 8 year old niece. I haven't taken it out of the box because I haven't given it to her yet. The Barbie is very cool. The short hair style is very different for a Barbie doll and I love the little black dress she comes in. My niece has fashion shows with her Barbies and I know she is going to love this one for her collection!

This doll has a beautifully done platinum bob that lifts off the face so the face is framed by the hairdo. The cowl neck dress is charming and she is wearing closed toe pumps. Her expression is charming with a button nose and the face paint is in soft but not too pale colors. This is definitely one of the nicest dolls in the Basics line.
