This one is fun especially for the Star Trek fan. Basically - think of any prominant - and some obscure - charater in the Star Trek universe and the game asks you 20 questions.
You answer, yes, no, I don't know and a few other choices an by the time it gets to the actual 20th question - it always seem to know who you are talking about. It's a lot of fun. I must also say it is quite durable. I have dropped it several times and it still keeps on working! I even tested it on other friends (Star Trek fans too) of mine - and it always seemed to work with them as well no matter who anyone thought of. It even has a sense of humor about you and itself! Clever device and certainly interesting programming inside it. My only downside about it - is that it is a little slow in the quesiton answering department - but great fun to have. 6-8-10

While I love the design and it fun... I have to say that my first few times playing it I was a little disappointed. It couldn't get "shields". I mean... if a 20Q&A specific to Star Trek can't get that... something is wrong with the world. The cute comments it throws back at you are fun. Sometimes it seems to take a little long to display them.

Perfectly timed with the release of the new Star Trek film, which is fantatstic, this new hand-held game will provide hours of fun for any self-respecting Star Trek fan. Think of anything in the Star Trek universe, a character, ship, device, planet and the 20Q Star Trek game will tell you exactly what you are thinking by answering 20 questions. During the course of the questioning the game will chide you with funny quips and subtle jabs giving the game it's own unique "personality". Of course the key for the game to work best is to try and answer the questions as accurately as possible as the game is trying to deduce what you are thinking. The game also has a stylized base for which to mount the game on when not playing so it can be placed on a shelf or end-table and makes a nice collectible. Also the illumination on the display has a red backlight so it can be played with little light as well and the sound can be turned on or off. It also comes with two "AAA" batteries already installed and ready for game play. If you love Star Trek then get this wonderful game and if you are new to Star Trek play along as you watch the various TV shows and movies and try your hand at stumping the 20Q Star Trek! Live long and prosper...

I was surprised how playing with this turned out to be a memory exercise- questions like "was it ever beamed aboard the Enterprise"? Can have you wracking YOUR brain while you are trying to stump it! My office full of Trek Fans have been able to get it to regularly need to ask more than 20 questions to get the answer, but it always has gotten the answer thus far!

It looks decent as a stand-alone model and comes with a stand. It's fun to play, adding some random funny phrases
at random times. I would consider it mandatory to a Trek collector, especially considering the price.

Anyone who's familiar with 20Q electronic games knows the low-down on these devices; You supply the answer(s) and 20Q asks a series of mountingly progressive questions until it discovers what's on your mind. Enter the Star Trek version of 20Q: A lot of fun if you're vastly familiar with all things Trek, from TOS to Enterprise and all 10 Theatrical Features as well, but probably less so for the occasional Trek Fan with mildly passing interest in Trek-lore. On the other hand, one's breadth of knowledge about the known Trek Universe will certainly broaden in scope after spending some time with this little mock galaxy-class cruiser. Asthetically speaking, it's clunky at best but resembles enough of the iconic vehicle to be just passable, barely (if you're looking for a handsome model to display on your desk, consider one of the versions from Polar Lights or ERTL, or Playmates if you don't want to build). But, that's not the point, rather, it reasonably services the need for hard-core Trekkers to expand their would-be knowledge of a range of realms from Starfleet Academia to otherworldly facts (Romulan, Vulcan, Tholian, blah-blah ad nauseum... oh yeah and my favorite; The Metrons). This 20Q appears to possess a wealth of facts known throughout the neighboring Quadrants that comprise the foundational makeup of the Star Trek Universe (heck, Gene might even be impressed). LLAP.
